Hello everyone! I hope you've all had a good and restful summer break. As promised, Theology That Sings is back, and there are some exciting new things ahead.
We'll begin this Sunday (Sept 2nd) - where we'll have do a S20 'redux', looking again at our theology of Church. (Or, 'ecclesiology'.) Many of us couldn't be there when we last covered this material, so it'll be good to go over it again. For some it will be completely new; for others it'll just be a refresher.
We'll continue our mini-series on Ecclesiology throughout September - with S21 on the 16th, and S22 on the 30th. Then we'll embark on our final three Foundations sessions - all about last things (or: 'eschatology'), how we as God's people are to live whilst awaiting Christ's second advent and triumphant return!
We'll also have two Scripture sessions in September - one on Sun 9th, and another on Sun 23rd. These will see us finish our study 2 Timothy.
With the end of the Foundations course as we know it will also come big changes. We've a 'second year' course in the works (following on from the material established in Foundations), all new Scripture sessions (with a new focus), and an expanded Foundations course for all newcomers. I'll reveal more nearer the time, so watch this space!
