"I will sing with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also"
[1 Cor 14:15]
Those were Paul’s words to the Church in Corinth, and they capture the essence of Theology That Sings. We are a small, Chester-based organisation, seeking to provide Christ-centred theological teaching for God's people in a way that is joyful, worshipful, and accessible. After all, God's a theologian - and he wants you to be one, too. We'd love to have you along!
TTS Scripture: we met on Sun 17th Mar at City Church for a special, one-off session, looking at Biblical exegesis - everyday principles for handling the Bible well. For notes and full description, click here.
Foundations S9: looking at how the early Church worked so hard to define and preserve the doctrine of the Incarnation, and how God providentially caused the Gospel to triumph. For notes and full description, click here.
Foundations S10: Starting a new series on 'soteriology', i.e. our doctrine/s of salvation! We'll start by looking at God's free choice to be a Saviour God, and how this grace defines every aspect of our redemption. Meeting at Freedom Church on Sun 24th Mar 2019 - arriving from 4.15pm to start at 4.30pm. (Directions here.)
Virtues S1: our Virtues course will start on Sun 31st March, meeting usual time at Gill Brown's house. (NOTE: this is a second-years only session, i.e. for those who have completed the Foundations sessions. Directions here.)
Studying God together and growing in Christ as one. It is amazing to grow and mature spiritually together so that we can encourage others to study in this way. Grateful to Nathan, Jo and everyone involved in TTS. Blessed are we, glory to God in the highest! Amen.
Nathan brings real passion and energy to explaining faith, God, Christ, Spirit, Bible, and even us our role and our purpose! Far from dry, and very interactive.
