"I will sing with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also"
[1 Cor 14:15]
Those were Paul’s words to the Church in Corinth, and they capture the essence of Theology That Sings. We are a small, Chester-based organisation, seeking to provide Christ-centred theological teaching for God's people in a way that is joyful, worshipful, and accessible. After all, God's a theologian - and he wants you to be one, too. We'd love to have you along!
Foundations S13: continuing our five-part series on 'soteriology', i.e. our theology of salvation. We know why Jesus had to die, but why did Jesus have to rise? What was the purpose of the Resurrection? For notes and full description, click here.
Virtues S2: continuing our second year course, all about cultivating Christlike character. We were focused on the virtue of Godly Wisdom. For notes and full description, click here. (Remember: you'll need your second-year password. Get in touch if you've forgotten it!)
Foundations S12: continuing our five-part series on 'soteriology', i.e. our theology of salvation. This session was dedicated to Christ's Work on the Cross - how exactly did Jesus' death guarantee our redemption? For notes and full description, click here.
Essentials S1: for those who find the Foundations sessions tricky to attend, we're trialing this shorter mid-week course on the essentials of Christian theology. Meeting at Freedom Church on Wed 15th May, arrive from 7.15pm to start at 7.30pm. (Directions here.) You can read more information here.
TTS Scripture: another one-off Scripture session. Last time we looked at Biblical exegesis; this time we'll be addressing another important subject. Meeting at Matthew Henry Evangelical Church in Blacon, on Sun 19th May, arrive from 4.15pm to start at 4.30pm. (Directions here.)
HALF-TERM BREAK: no session on Sun 26th May!
Studying God together and growing in Christ as one. It is amazing to grow and mature spiritually together so that we can encourage others to study in this way. Grateful to Nathan, Jo and everyone involved in TTS. Blessed are we, glory to God in the highest! Amen.
Nathan brings real passion and energy to explaining faith, God, Christ, Spirit, Bible, and even us our role and our purpose! Far from dry, and very interactive.
